Thanks for Paddling With Us!

Thanks to everyone who attended Paddle to Protect last Saturday in support of our Middle Oconee Conservation Corridor project. We had a wonderful time experiencing this magical stretch of river and seeing the extremely special land that borders it.

We'd like to send a special thanks to Oconee Joe for leading us, Dan and Sally Coenen for spearheading this conservation effort, Big Dog's on the River for hosting us, Ideal Bagel for providing a delicious breakfast, and Alex Harvey for volunteering as a sweeper.

We'll be holding several more events in support of the Middle Oconee Conservation Corridor initiative, including a Butterflies and Brunch fundraiser/hike on 9/6, and a preview of Jason Thrasher's exciting photo project capturing the Middle Oconee through the four seasons at the Cine LAB on 9/25 (more details to follow). We hope to see some of you there as well.
