Happy New Year from ORLT!

As 2025 draws to a close, we reflect on ORLT’s accomplishments and opportunities from the past year. Here are a few of the highlights that you have helped make possible with your donations:

• We monitored close to 45,000 acres of land held in conservation easements across Georgia

• We completed eight new easements, protecting 400 additional acres.

• We launched our Middle Oconee Conservation Corridor initiative to protect land along the Middle Oconee River in Athens-Clarke County.

• We worked with new and existing landowners to help steward and protect their properties.

• We enjoyed connecting with our members at various events throughout the year, including: Wildflower Walk, Paddle to Protect, Butterflies & Brunch, and Hike & Happy Hour.

• We updated our supporters about ORLT happenings with our monthly e- newsletter Conservation Corner and our biannual printed newsletter.

• We are working with new landowners to protect additional land in 2026!

The ORLT Staff and Board of Directors are grateful for your support. We wish you a Happy New Year and look forward to another great year of conservation in 2026!

Over 45,000 acres protected forever since 1993, thanks to you!
