We are so grateful to our Oconee River Land Trust members for their support. Members directly help us protect and steward 200 miles of streams and rivers, and over 43,000 acres of forests, farms, and wetlands across Georgia. These greenspaces enrich our communities and our lives by providing beauty, habitat, clean water and food - forever.

In 2023, we will celebrate ORLT's 30th anniversary (more details coming soon!). Thanks to the support of our members, we have come come along way since our funding in 1993; from out first volunteer director to a staff of six, and our first conservation easement to the 200+ properties we now help protect.

The nature of our work means that we are always planning for the next 30 years and beyond: How to protect more critical land in the face of unprecedented change, how to steward properties held in easement, how to connect people to the land, and how to sustain our work in perpetuity. As we look to the future, we hope you will join us on this journey by renewing your membership or becoming a new member - and supporting ORLT's mission to conserve land in Georgia now and always.

As an ORLT member you will receive ORLT's newsletter and invitation to future hikes and events, as well as the knowledge that you are doing your part to help preserve important land and ecosystems for all time.
