About the event

This leisurely hike will take place on a conservation easement in Jackson County along the North Oconee River. Josiah Lavender of Wild Birds Unlimited will be leading the walk, which will take us along edges of farmland and bottomland hardwood habitats, and through forests. If you’d like to learn more about how to identify birds in the field, this is an excellent opportunity! The meeting point for this hike is approximately 20 minutes north of Athens. We hope you'll join us!

Please contact ORLT Outreach Coordinator Theresa Pippin with any questions at theresa@oconeeriverlandtrust.org.
